The really unique thing about these hammocks is the yarn that is used to make them.  Acrylic yarn is not a typical hammock material but it is one of the best.  The advantage of our special acrylic yarn is that it is strong, soft, weather resistant, and has deep beautiful colours.  Most hammocks are made from cotton.  The disadvantage of cotton is that it rots easily when exposed to the wet and dry cycle of rain and sunshine.

Our hammocks are made from a unique material that is extremely strong yet soft enough to allow extreme comfort. The hammocks are rated to hold 250KG.

When it comes to purchasing a hammock the old saying ‘you get what you pay for’ holds true.  When you invest in a West Coast hammock, aside from getting a large, strong, soft, weather resistant hammock,  you are also getting access to;

  • Weavers who are paid a fair wage and benefit from self-employment rather than back breaking work in the rice fields
  • Management team in Thailand including a Swiss textile engineer who train new weavers, supply premium quality yarn, oversee quality assurance, and create new designs and products
  • Full range of hammocks available here in Perth Australia
  • Shipped free to your doorstep Express Post meaning you have it within a day or two of ordering from anywhere in Australia

If you notice a defect with your hammock please let us know straight away and we can arrange an exchange or refund within 30 days of the hammock being delivered. We will cover the return shipping costs.  Since starting this company in 2012 we have yet to have a hammock returned due to a manufacturer defect.  We will update this if that changes!

Acrylic yarn is a synthetic material that is weather resistant and will last for 10+ years.

When transporting the hammocks you need to take care not to catch the yarn on something and pull it tight. Also holding the hammock by the eye’s and letting it fall out naturally will prevent it from tangling. Once the hammock is setup it is extremely durable. Please take care to ensure you do not wear sharp objects or buttons that could snag the hammock yarns. By following these simple steps you will enjoy your hammock in optimal condition for many years to come.
